This Privacy Policy explains how Sewaora ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our Android application and related services that enable textile manufacturers to list inventory and wholesalers to place orders (the "Platform"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal and business information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & Business Information
Name, business name, GSTIN, PAN, tax classification, business address, pickup/delivery addresses, email, phone, role/designation, KYC documents (as applicable), and login credentials.
1.2 Listing & Transaction Data
Product/catalog details, quantities, pricing, images, order details, communications between buyers and sellers, payment references, fulfillment and returns information, dispute tickets, and ratings/feedback.
1.3 Device & Usage Information
Device identifiers (Android Advertising ID/limited ad tracking), app version, log data, IP, language, time zone, crash diagnostics, and analytics events to improve performance and prevent fraud.
1.4 Optional Consents
With your explicit consent, we may access camera/gallery (to upload product images), location (for address autofill/fraud risk scoring), or contacts (to invite team members). Permissions can be managed in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Platform, including account creation, authentication, listings, order workflow, and customer support.
  • Facilitate communications between counterparties and operational notifications.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, prohibited content, and violations of our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, KYC), and enforce our rights.
  • Improve features and user experience via analytics and product research.
  • Send service announcements; marketing communications only with opt-in consent and with an opt-out mechanism.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

  • Counterparties: We share necessary contact, business, and order information between buyers and sellers to enable transactions.
  • Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, payment facilitation, KYC/verification, logistics integrations—bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Legal & Compliance: To comply with laws, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, property, or safety of users and the Platform.
  • Business Transfers: In a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, data may be transferred subject to this Policy.

4. Cookies & Device Identifiers

We use device identifiers and similar technologies for essential operations (e.g., authentication, security), performance analytics, and to understand feature usage. You may reset advertising/analytics identifiers or limit tracking via your Android settings.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices, and monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Where feasible, we anonymize or aggregate data for analytics after active use ends.

7. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access, correction, and deletion (subject to law and legitimate business needs, e.g., tax records).

Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Sewaora, a B2B marketplace enabling textile manufacturers to list inventory and wholesalers to place orders. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You represent that you are a business user (18+) with authority to bind your entity; you will provide accurate business details (including GSTIN/PAN where applicable).
  • You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for all activity under your account, including actions by your employees/agents.

3. Our Role & Disclaimers (Critical Risk Allocation)

4. Listings & Prohibited Content

  • Sellers must ensure listings are accurate, lawful, and compliant with applicable textile, labeling, and trade regulations.
  • Prohibited: counterfeit goods; infringing content; misrepresentations; unlawful pricing or discounts; deceptive images; spam; harmful code.
  • We may moderate, remove, or suspend content and accounts at our discretion to protect the Platform or comply with law.

5. Orders, Payment & Fulfilment

  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; acceptance occurs directly between buyer and seller.
  • Pricing, taxes, shipping, insurance, delivery terms, return/refund policies, and risk of loss are agreed between buyer and seller.
  • If payment tools are integrated, settlement is handled by third‑party PSPs subject to their terms. We are not a party to payment disputes.
  • Logistics are arranged by the counterparties or their selected providers. We are not responsible for pickup, transit, delays, or damage.

6. Disputes, Chargebacks & Platform Complaints

  • Any quality, quantity, non‑delivery, or warranty disputes are strictly between buyer and seller. The parties should resolve under their commercial contract, purchase order, and applicable law.
  • We may, at our sole discretion, offer limited assistance by facilitating communications or sharing available logs, but we do not adjudicate disputes.
  • Chargebacks, reversals, or payment failures are handled by the relevant PSP; we may provide transaction references where available.

7. Fees

We may charge subscription, listing, or transaction fees in future.

8. Intellectual Property & Licence

  • The Platform, trademarks, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use the Platform for your internal B2B purposes.
  • You grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free licence to host, display, and use your listings and trademarks solely to operate and promote the Platform.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts or remove content for suspected fraud, policy violations, non‑payment of fees, legal risk, or harm to the Platform. You may close your account at any time; certain obligations survive (fees due, confidentiality, IP, indemnities, limitations of liability).

10. Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties (merchantability, fitness, non‑infringement) and exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits; loss of goodwill; data loss; or business interruption.
  • Aggregate Liability Cap: Our total liability for all claims in any 12‑month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) INR 10,000; or (b) the total fees paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sewaora, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (i) your listings, products, or business conduct; (ii) breach of these Terms or applicable law; (iii) infringement of third‑party rights; or (iv) disputes between you and any counterparty.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law on arbitration, courts at [Delhi, India] shall have exclusive jurisdiction. You agree to first attempt amicable resolution; failing which, disputes may be referred to binding arbitration seated at [Delhi] under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with the Act.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
